The quality of this product meets or exceeds Federal Specifications that allow for small bubbles (smaller than 1/4" in diameter) minor waviness, and hairline scratches that are inherent in the manufacturing of glass. (Scratches must be able to be viewed from a distance of 3 feet when the glass is in a vertical position to be deemed unacceptable by industry standards, ASTM Designation C1036-91.) The nature of handcrafted glass may have any of these imperfections, which will serve to emphasize the individuality of your piece.
